Wonderful place to stay! Loved every minute of our visit. Lots of space! Beautiful yard with amazing view of the lake. Loved the screen porch the most. The bonfire out was wonderful! Beautiful landscape and just spectacular views! We will definitely be back!
The Lakeview Lodge setting was beautiful, quiet, and private- exactly what we were looking for. We appreciated the cleanliness of the home and the quality of the bed linens and towels. The beds were very comfortable! The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed to cook full meals. The screed porch was a favorite spot for reading on rainy days. There is a family-oriented park and beach within walking distance from the house that has a sandy beach, shade trees and picnic tables. For those looking for a serene vacation on the quiet side of the peninsula, this home fits the bill.
We had a lovely stay at this home. If you are looking for a private retreat into nature, it is a great place. We were a little bit disappointed that the water was not as deep as we were expecting near the property and we couldn’t use our kayak or fish directly from the back yard, but we were able to access the water from the dock that is at the end of the road, so it was still incredibly convenient. Overall it was a 5 star stay.
