It’s not easy finding the perfect rental home in Door County. We have stayed in many. And love a lot of things about each one. But none have been big enough to host our big group. Then we found The Cabana Club! Not only is it located near our favorite Sister Bay destinations, the “club” is spacious and full of amenities for all ages. Party of 12? No problem. 24? Got you covered!
The Cabana Club, offered by Northern Door Vacations, is actually two neighboring homes: Cozy Cabana and Cherry Cabana. The owners have created a fun playful vibe with vintage inspired decor and photos. From bright wallpapers that make for the perfect instagram moment, to coffee stations and comfy couches for cozy mornings, and a game room to keep the kids busy during the entire stay.
Double the Door County Charm
Two homes means twice the space to spread out. What might look like a girls weekend getaway in this photo, is just the opposite. The guys were out by the fire and the kids were in the lower level playing pool, or ping pong, or putting a puzzle together. (Although a girls getaway does sound nice!)

As the hosts of our big group, it was nice to have so many options when it came to where we gathered. The houses have tons of “conversation zones.” People could be playing a game or having a cocktail while others were watching a movie or the Packers game. The mornings were spent curled up on the cozy couches with coffee. Laater on we gathered around the big kitchen islands with wine and food.

Nights around the fire. Games at the table. Movies while curled up under a blanket. (One blanket for five!) You don’t even need to leave The Cozy Cabana to make your Door County memories. But you should. More on that later!!
Designer touches and thoughtful amenities
We love Cozy Cabana for that huge basement with the pool and ping pong tables. And also because most nights you can watch the sunset through the trees while sitting around the fire or hanging out on the deck. But since we’re talking about vacation rentals, we have to also talk about “living” in those spaces. We’ve established that the two homes are big enough for our crew. But are they nice enough? Modern enough? Can we actually live here for a week? Yes! Each house has four bedrooms and three full baths. The beds are cozy. The bathrooms are equipped. The tv’s are smart. The decor is bright and lively. The coffee stations leave us wanting to upgrade our home situation. And the kitchens are stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal for your very big group. (See Northern Door Vacations for complete gallery of photos.)

The owners have made it easy to want to stay. They provide tons of gear to be able to easily walk downtown to festivals or the beach. Toys for the sand, beach bags, a cooler, towels. Even some chairs to take to the nearby drive-in theater!

Location!
Speaking of what’s nearby… Both homes are ideally located to explore the best of Sister Bay. In the morning, walk over to Carroll House for their cherry cheese-stuffed French toast. Or spend an evening just down the street at Twelve Eleven, a local winery that offers live music on weekends, outdoor firepits, and some of the best wine in the area.

Plus there’s the convenience of a nearby grocery store, bowling at Sister Bay Bowl for those rainy days, the beach for sunny days, goats on the roof at Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant, and in October, Fall Fest in downtown Sister Bay. And if you’ve been invited to a wedding at “Northern Haus” (we have, and it’s beautiful), the Cozy Cabana is just down the road!
Where memories are made
Whether you’re staying at Cozy Cabana, Cherry Cabana, or both, you’ll find that these Sister Bay rental homes were built for those vacation memories you dream about. Door County is a great vacation destination. Staying at The Cabana Club puts it over the top!
